Furthermore, German baking has a long and rich tradition. In fact, many of these traditional german cakes and pastries have been passed down through generations of German families. Additionally, my grandfather — a German master pastry chef — inspired many of the recipes you will find here. He baked these cakes in his café in the Black Forest for decades, and each recipe carries a piece of that history.
